The Black Cultural Festival is designed to bring together the several African and African American communities that represent the Greater Columubs Metropolitan area.  Our theme is, "Celebrating our heritage, while Confronting the Challenges of Being Black in America".  Our website is www.blackculturalfestival.com. 

We have a multi national entertainment lined up featuring rap bands from Tanzania, dancers from Nigeria, Rwanda, and of course the USA.  We also feature a health care component that  gives 100 free mamograms, diabetes testing, blood pressure checks and more. 

This year we are giving away (4) four Edith Cooper Scholarship of Excellence to Columbus area high school seniors.  The application can  be downloaded at www.blackculturalfestival.com the deadline is June 30, 2008.
