| I would like to see the truth about our history, from us by us. I would like to see positive content about us other than news outlet that put us in stereo-typical light. |
| What does Black History mean to you: |
| Oneness, the ability to open up with love about our loving and misunderstood history. When one think of Black History, people think of Slavery, Jim Crown Laws, Lynchings, it happened. I think our positive history need to be at the forefront as well, to make our history more attractive. I think a lot of people tend to shy away from reading black history, because all they think of is the negative aspect of it. But all in all Black History means LOVE. |
