The successful candidate will prepare and deliver lectures on various topics in relation to the identified discipline; evaluate and grade students’ class and lab work, assignments, papers and exams; prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts; initiate, facilitate and moderate classroom discussions; plan, evaluate and revise curricula, course content and materials and methods of instruction; serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, department matters and academic issues; and participate in campus and community events.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of two years of industry/business experience in related field
• Collegiate teaching experience; Community College environment a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for students
• Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population
• Doctorate degree
• Minimum of 5-10 years of related industry experience
• Experience using a learning management system to deliver distance learning courses
• Current industry certification in one of the following areas: programming, data analytics, and/or database administration
This is a full-time tenure track faculty opportunity for the academic year beginning August
(Fall semester) 2018. Ability to work a combination of days/evenings/weekends is required. Assignments may include working at multiple sites/campuses.
