PRN/7A-3:30P/8 HOURS PER PAY
The SNSC Orderly provides support services to the Nursing, Business Office, Materials Management Clerk and Management staff. These services are provided to all areas within Samaritan North Surgery Center. The SNSC Orderly also is responsible for instrument cleaning, assembly and sterilization for the Surgery Center.
The Orderly will refer to the Electronic Information Security Officer for appropriate computer access level.
Qualifications & Requirements
The SNSC Orderly reports to the Manager or Charge Nurse. The SNSC Orderly functions in the Instrument Processing area as well as all other areas of Samaritan North Surgery Center and has a working knowledge of sterile technique.
Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
Certification: Current CPR Certification. Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician preferred
Experience: Minimum three (3) years Perioperative/Central Processing experience
