WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a Warehouse Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
â€¢ Managing the daily operations of a warehouse and support fleet operations for a direct store delivery center assuring timely and cost effective service levels in partnership with the sales team
â€¢ Entering all computer data such as invoice processing, corrections, inventory, payroll, vehicle management, weekly time, stock outs, and message transmission
â€¢ Managing hourly employee recruitment, discipline and compliance of company policies
â€¢ Managing the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, work safety management and training, and federal/state/local regulatory compliance
â€¢ Managing efficient daily warehouse operations
â€¢ Performing administrative tasks necessary to support daily Distribution Center operations and assists Distribution Management on other special projects as assigned
â€¢ Supporting the Distribution Center Manager to ensure compliance to all Federal and State regulatory requirements; DOT, Sec. 404, AIB Food Safety Regulations, Internal/External Audits, Driver Qualification Files, Hours of Service, and random drug testing
â€¢ Training new warehouse/driver personnel
â€¢ Conducting accurate record keeping, inventory, damaged/destroyed goods, and the consistent enforcement of company policies
â€¢ Managing activities among key groups to ensure order fill and on-time delivery
â€¢ Developing solutions to maximize and measure case-fill and on-time delivery
â€¢ Completing shipping documentation / invoices and scheduling pick-up for all outgoing shipments
â€¢ Monitoring shipments in transit to ensure timely arrival at destination
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Supply Chain, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
â€¢ High School / GED with significant experience related to warehouse / distribution and consistently demonstrated experience in supervisory / management background OR Bachelorâ€™s Degree with more significant related experience in warehouse / distribution and consistently demonstrated experience in supervisory / management
â€¢ Strong computer skills and solid management / conflict resolution abilities
â€¢ Experience with process change and Lean / Six Sigma
â€¢ Excellent communication as well as demonstrated experience in project management
â€¢ Experience managing multiple IT platforms, such as SAP, XATA, PTV, PTL, and DEX
â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s Degree with fairly significant related warehouse / distribution experience within a food or beverage distribution center and significant total supervisory experience
â€¢ Strong communication skills, computer skills and solid management / conflict resolution abilities
â€¢ SAP experience
â€¢ Multi shift and Union workforce experience
