Have any ne read the book " The Curse of 1920" by Gary D. Naler. I sure would like to discuss it with you. One chapter dicuss Welfare it says It replaced the black man with a government check displacing him from the home. Now a ask would the black female and children would have went hungry and homeless with out the welfare check. No not at all you what would happen mothers and fathers would had to stand up the family would have supported them more and we would have more confindence in ourselves and build our community and families up . And our children would have been more healthy and morat and smarter . They would had bee breast -feed more than bottled fed with the wic . And family would give them more love and motivation. they would have better role models.
