Founder of HBCUconnect.Com, Announces Merger/Acquisition of Second Largest HBCU Web Site (22302 hits)
Columbus, OH - In 1999, Will Moss launched HBCUconnect.com as the first ever social network for African Americans. Nearly 10 years later, the site is 1.2 million members strong and is the largest online community for Black college students and alumni.

To strengthen his reach, Moss has recently announced the acquisition of their major competitor - HBCUnetwork.com. This further solidifies his company's position as owners of the largest, most active HBCU audience online. Also in their portfolio, is HBCU.com and HBCU.net.

"Our goal is to be the #1 go-to source for recruiters and advertisers looking to reach African American college students and alumni," says Moss. "We also want to help Black colleges build up their student enrollment and alumni retention."

Current clients of HBCUconnect.com include Nissan, Infiniti, Ford Motors, U.S. Army, Starbucks, Wal-Mart, Alltel Wireless, and many more.

Currently, there are 105 historically Black colleges in the United States with over 300,000 enrolled students and hundreds of thousands of proud alumni.
